So I’m not particularly happy about how this card turned out but hey, I’ll post it anyway. My dear colleague asked if he could order a birthday card for his daughter who turns 7 this week. Her favorite color is purple and she loves owls. And rainbows. And glitter! So here it is. Owls, purple, rainbow colored flowers and her name in glitter paper! 😀 The owls are MFT, as well as the flowers. The 7 is an Altenew die and the speech bubble is Lawn Fawn. The background is colored with distress inks. I was inspired by a @nicholspohr and some fantastic kitchen scenes she created a couple of years ago. (YouTube never forgets. 😀) I used the Lawn Fawn set So Smooth and colored with Copics. Made the kitchen cabinet doors out of Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles and colored with distress inks. I made a thank you card using some bottle stamps I had lying around, Lawn Fawn sentiments from the Reveal wheel sentiments stamp set and cheers die. The bottle stamps had labels which I masked and stamped the Thank you sentiments instead.
